Monroe County, WI – The 2025 Economic Development & Tourism Spring Conference is set to take place April 10-11, 2025, at Three Bears Resort in Warrens, WI. This premier event will bring together industry professionals, thought leaders, and innovators to explore key topics such as economic development, leadership, small business growth, rural healthcare, workforce challenges, hospitality, and tourism.
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) Secretary and CEO Missy Hughes will deliver a keynote address, offering valuable insights into Wisconsin’s economic landscape. As the head of the state’s leading economic development organization, Hughes has played a pivotal role in fostering business growth and community development. Before joining WEDC in 2019, she served as General Counsel and Chief Mission Officer at Organic Valley and has held leadership roles with the Environmental Working Group and the Organic Trade Association. Hughes holds a B.A. in Political Science from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming College of Law.
