Speaker Spotlight: Melissa Revels, Owner, St. Mary’s Distillery

Kory and Melissa Revels are the husband-and-wife owners of St. Mary’s Distillery, established in 2018. In 2010, they purchased a 224-acre ridge farm in Cashon, Wisconsin. After personally enjoying the property, they recognized its natural beauty, marked by spectacular sunsets and sweeping views, and decided it should be shared with others.

In 2020, they opened St. Mary’s Distillery on the site. The distillery, constructed by Kory himself, produces a variety of spirits, including brandy, rum, and gin, while Melissa oversees tasting room operations. Together, they have cultivated a popular destination for visitors.

Their eldest daughter, Morgan, has also embraced entrepreneurship by launching an ice cream business that sells homemade ice cream during the summer months. The distillery’s largest-attended events include Polka Sundays, a seafood boil, and an annual fall market. The Revels continue to expand their enterprise, with a wedding and event venue scheduled to open in 2026.
