This special night kicks off their FALL 2026 Writers Retreat, which runs November 12-14.

Highlighting: Meet Robert “Bob” Nielsen, author of “Wind in the Shade.” Come hear an inspiring story and amazing comeback! After a motocross racing accident caused life-threatening injuries, Bob set his sights on a career in the music industry. As a rock band entertainer, he reached his professional peak but faced the challenges of success, wealth, sex, drugs, and betrayal. The son to a Norwegian father and Mohawk Native American mother, Bob tells how a defining moment almost destroyed his destiny and life. Through his struggles, he realized that the most meaningful victories required learning from defeats, which helped him discover the real meaning of hope, truth, and love.
