Cemetery Preservation and Gravestone Cleaning Workshop

Join the Monroe County Local History Room & Museum for a free, two-part workshop on cemetery preservation and gravestone cleaning. Learn about grave marker materials, symbolism, and proper preservation techniques before participating in a hands-on gravestone cleaning demonstration at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Sparta. Cleaning supplies will be provided.
