Canceling Christmas is a heartwarming romantic comedy set in a charming small town during the festive holiday season. The story follows Emily Harper, a dedicated nurse who unexpectedly inherits the local theatre. Eager to bring the community together with a Christmas play, Emily’s plans are thwarted when Elliot Ryan, the town’s meticulous public health officer, orders the theatre to be shut down due to a severe mold infestation in the basement. The cost to clean up the mold is a staggering $15,000, a sum that neither Emily nor the theatre can afford.
