1980s Christmas Exhibit at the History Room, Sparta

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas – of the 1980s – at the Monroe County Local History Room and Museum in Sparta. Starting Monday, November 25th at 6:30pm, visitors can time travel to the not-so-distant past by viewing the History Room’s special holiday display, “Back to the 1980s Christmas.”

The museum display, “Back to the 1980s Christmas,” runs from November 25th through January 11th. Special opening reception from 6:30-8 on Monday, November 25th. The Monroe County Local History Room & Museum is located at 200 West Main Street, Sparta. Regular museum hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 9-4. Closed holidays.
