Sparta Area Chamber of Commerce Holiday Parade
Hello everyone! We’re excited to announce the theme for this year’s holiday parade is “Christmas”!
You can decorate anything you want that’s Christmas related!
We look forward to seeing your wonderful holiday spirit!
There is no cost to participate this year, but registration is still necessary. Get your floats ready β we want to see sparkle, lights, and lots of holiday cheer! We will still be giving out awards, so we hope to see many beautiful floats!
The Sparta, WI Holiday Parade is scheduled for Friday, December 5, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The parade starts at the intersection of Franklin and Water Street and proceeds down Water Street to Oak Street, then to East Avenue, ending at Evans-Bosshard Park. The event is followed by a community holiday lighting ceremony at the park, complete with caroling, hot chocolate, and a bonfire.

Turns onto: Oak Street, then East Avenue
Post-parade event: Holiday lighting ceremony at Evans-Bosshard Park

Participants in the parade line up on Franklin Street from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM.
The lighting ceremony at Evans-Bosshard Park includes over half a million lights, bonfires, hot chocolate, and carolers.
The event is part of the Sparta Kriskindlmarkt, which is a Bavarian-style Christmas market.
