Sparta’s Veterans Organizations Plan Several Activities

Sparta, WI– The Sparta area community is invited to attend all Veteran’s Day events sponsored by the Sparta American Legion Post #100 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post #2112 on November 11, 2025.
All events are open to the public.

The Honor Guards of the American Legion and VFW will perform ceremonies at local schools in the morning. At 10:30, we will gather at Blyton Park for a short ceremony starting at 11:00 honoring all Veterans.

After the ceremony, the American Legion will perform a flag disposal ceremony and provide a free lunch to all veterans. Both the American Legion and VFW will be doing raffles to support their veteran programs throughout the day.

We ask that you bring your chairs and flags to Blyton Park for the ceremony. Lets show our Veterans that we care.
