We’ll be creating a stunning, large-scale flower design using a variety of sizes of curved pieces, resulting in a quilt block with elegant, flowing lines.\nAbout the Pattern:\nThe “Windswept” pattern is designed to create a Twin/Full size quilt, approximately 84″ x 84″.\nIn class, we’ll focus on constructing a single flower block, giving you hands-on experience with the curved piecing techniques involved.\nIf you fall in love with the process (and we think you will!), you’ll have the tools and knowledge to create additional blocks and complete the full quilt at home.\nWhat to Expect in Class:\n-Detailed instruction on cutting and piecing curved Drunkard’s Path blocks in multiple sizes.\n-Tips and tricks for achieving smooth, accurate curves.\n-Guidance on layout and design to create the flowing flower effect.\n-The chance to connect with fellow quilters and explore your creativity.\nWhat to Bring:\nA complete list of supplies needed including cutting instructions and templates (provided upon sign up).\nImportant Notes:\nCutting instructions and templates will be sent to you after enrollment, allowing you time to prepare your fabric before class.\nThe curved piecing can be a bit tricky at first, but with practice, you’ll be amazed at what you can create.
